Antique Walker & Hall 12 Piece Silver Plate Fish Cutlery Set with Fitted Case
This listing is for an antique English Sheffield silver plate and bone handle fish cutlery set with its original fitted case by Walker & Hall. The set includes 6 knives which measures 8 1/2 inches long and 6 forks which are 7 1/4 inches long. The fitted wood case, when closed, measures 2 1/2 inches high, and is 8 by 10 inches across the top. The flatware set features a cream colored carved bone handle with a ribbed silver plate collar. The blades of the knives have a notch at the top and are engraved with scrolling design. The forks have silver plate tines with an engraved linear design. They are marked on verso “W&H S I EP”. The fitted storage case is wood with a light blue velvet interior, it is hinged on one side and has an escutcheon with a safety clasp at the front.
